Integrated Health is defined by WHO (World Health Organization) as “…a state of complete physical, mental and social well being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity.”

Personal training, with a Holistic touch
I deeply believe in whole body health, which is why I combine my sessions with a “Wellness and Functionality” approach. We not only want to look good on the outside, but be healthy on the inside. We want to be able to perform day-to-day activities (or even sports) with ease, while preventing injury. My education and current certifications include Personal Trainer, Nutritional Weight Loss Specialist, BARRE instructor, Registered Yoga Teacher, Ayurveda Lifestyle Coach, AED and CPR. I am furthering my education to include sports specific nutrition and expanding my knowledge of Integrative Health. Current and previous mentors include BETH SHAW, DR. ANDREW WEIL,MD and DR. DAVID FRAWLEY.
I believe physical fitness and nutrition must be combined for optimum results. I am always looking for ways to expand my knowledge and I love to share this information with my clients.
I combine knowledge and techniques from Yoga, nutritional science, and conventional fitness to provide you with a comprehensive, individualized plan tailored to your body’s unique needs and your goals.
I work with females of all ages. In addition to everyday health and physical fitness, I can also provide rehabilitation and corrective fitness, overall wellness and injury-prevention training for seniors, or even youth-focused sport-specific training in dance, riding, running and skating.
Finally, I’ve created this website so that I can keep my clients informed, and motivated by each other’s success stories. In addition, I provide products reviews, list of recommended books, recipes, tips, and more.I believe that education is an important element to success, and I want to take the mystery out of things.
Having a personal trainer/nutritionist on-line is cost effective for the client and can be used on an as needed basis to progress to the next level. Doesn’t matter where you live I can help you reach your goals.
Lucie is the owner/creator of InSyncBody Fitness and Nutrition. Lucie operates as a fitness consultant to private individuals and corporations. Lucie also holds an Equine Science Diploma, with distinction from Guelph University and is a certified Equine Massage Therapist. Through J’Equine Sport, Inc. she consults in matters involving horse management, equine nutrition and training since 2009. In 2012 Lucie expanded the consulting practice to include personal fitness training and wellness under the name InSyncBody Fitness.
Lucie entered the fitness industry in the early 80’s. She followed all the trends: The 20-minute workout, Pilates when Jane Fonda made it popular, followed by Yoga with Raquel Welsh. Lucie then proceeded to develop her own style of fitness routine which incorporates Yoga/Barre dance technique/Pilates and Boot Camp.
She is not a follower but an innovator.
Her experience allows her to blend a program that is suited to you, not a generalized program. Anyone that has trained with Lucie will tell you that she works with you, encourages you and is non-judgmental. She follows your program and makes changes along the way to fit your needs.
You will most certainly walk away feeling rejuvenated and taller (posture is everything). 🙂
Lucie has been involved in many athletics and helped train athletes in dance, gymnastics, skating, swimming, 5-10 k runners and equestrians. She previously taught aerobic classes and managed fitness studios for approximately 10 years in Toronto. She designed and implemented the first “pre-ski fitness” program at Brock University in the early 80’s as well; she was the assistant trainer to figure skaters at the Mariposa Figure Skating School in Barrie. She has used her knowledge and experience to develop young athletic individuals but a large part of her time was also devoted to seniors: their health, injury prevention, injury rehabilitation, and so forth.
